It’s January…So Let’s Do ICELAND!

We know you think we’re nuts…flying off six hours northeast toward the Arctic Circle in January. But, it is the best time of the year to get an outstanding look at the aurora borealis (if you’re lucky).

We’re leaving this Thursday, and the weather, believe it or not, looks to be in the 40s and 50s for the first few days, albeit overcast and drizzle-prone. Fingers crossed for a few hours of clearing. We’ll be doing Reykjavik, the Snaefellsnes peninsula, Seljalandsfoss, Skogarfoss Waterfalls, Vik (for an away from civilization northern lights experience (?), Geysir, Gulfoss, Thingvellir, Reykjanes peninsyula, Blue Lagoon, and more. Any recommendations for good restaurants would be welcome.

Hope you can join us on this new adventure!

Happy, Healthy, Highlight-Filled New Year!
